Commission
Terms & Cons
By commissioning a design from me, you agree with the terms and conditions listed below unless there is another written supplementary agreement. I reserve the rights of interpretation of these terms & cons.

Workflow
- Inquiring stage:
Inquiry received → Discuss your information along with estimated rate and timeline.
- Sketching stage:
Down payment received → 1-3 raw sketches will be given and discuss them→ Raw sketch approved → Refine the raw sketch and discuss it
- Finalizing stage:
Fine sketch approved → Work on the final design and send a preview → Approved → Sign license agreement → Final payment received → Send HQ files within 24 hours from the moment payment received
1 Inquiry
I need to have accurate information about your project and your vision to be able to come up with an estimated rate. Please mention the points below in your inquiry:
- Info of your project:
Eg. link to your music, description of your book or profile of your brand etc.
- Intended usage of the artwork:
Poster, album cover etc.
- Your vision of the artwork:
Describe what you are looking for exactly. Attach some visual references if possible. It is ok if you don’t have any specific visual ideas, we can figure it out together.
- Estimated time to get started / Any deadlines / Any 3rd party involved:
Normally it takes me one week to finish one project but it may vary depending on the workload. I might be able fast track your project but an additional fee will occur.
2 Communication
- Preferred communication is via Email (ming.ling@outlook.com). Facebook and Instagram DM are ok.

- I will reply to you within 2 days unless otherwise stated. To ensure the commission goes smoothly, I expect a response to my messages within the same timeframe. Otherwise I can not avoid any further delays.
- No voice messages or calls accepted. Write down your thoughts so I can get back to you during the creative process.
3 Price and Payment
- Price is various depending on difficulty, workload and the usage of the design. Custom design for book illustration, album art, merch design starts from 250 USD. Band logo and tattoo design start from 150 USD. (I do not accept full-sleeve or back piece commission, sorry).
- Anyone outside of China mainland: PayPal only. Please make sure transfer as friends/family while sending payment. Otherwise transfer fee (4.4% of the total amount) will be paid by you.

- Anyone within China mainland: Payment via Alipay, WeChat Pay or bank transfer.
- 50% of the estimated rate is a mandatory down payment and is non-refundable.
- Once down payment is received, your booking has been successfully placed and I will schedule the time on my calendar. Otherwise the time is not promised. I may or may not reserve the time for you.
- Final payment should be made on the same date written on the license agreement.
4 Changes / Adjustments
- You can make any adjustments you want at the sketching stage. They are free of charge. However I do not recommend too many rounds of radical changes (for example 5 rounds of change and you are still not satisfied) as it may substantially change the nature of the artwork. In case the situation occur, we both have the right to stop the collaboration.
- Once I start finalizing the approved fine sketch, 3 times of minor changes are allowed. Radical changes will not be possible. If you want to change it anyway, an additional fee will occur and will be charged hourly.
- You have the right to slightly customize the finalized artwork (eg. tweak the size a bit in order to fit the needs of production). No one is allowed to modify or draw upon the final piece without my written consent.
- I do not accept any resizing jobs for free. Let me know the context / the usage of the design at the beginning. I will not be responsible for any loss due to radical changes or delays because of your side’s miscommunication.
5 Rights, Credit and License Agreement
- You have the rights to use the design under certain conditions described in the license agreement (download sample here).
- I retain the copyright of all the pieces within the projects and have the right to use them for self-promotion. You can buy out the copyrights for several times the price of a certain piece to have 100% ownership of it.
- Please credit me as Apocalypticbell and tag my page while you post any of my designs on social media.

- 草稿阶段:
支付定金 → 提供1-3版粗草稿/想法并讨论 → 粗草稿通过 → 细化草稿并讨论
- 终稿阶段:
细草稿通过 → 绘制终稿并提供预览 → 终稿通过 → 签署使用许可协议→ 支付尾款 → 收到尾款后24小时内发送高清图/工作文件
1 需求
请在你的私信中囊括以下几点以便提供报价：
- 自我介绍/项目信息：
可附带音乐试听或项目/品牌官网链接。
- 用途：
海报，封面，T恤等。
- 视觉效果：
准确描述你想要的画面。如果可以的话请附上相关图片以供参考。没有具体视觉想法也ok，我可以提供一些画面思路。
- 预计开始时间/截止日期/有无参与的第三方：
通常来说1周完成一个项目。工期随工作量上下浮动。有可能接急单，加急费另计。
2 沟通
- 沟通方式首选邮件（ming.ling@outlook.com）。Fb，Ins和微信消息也ok。

- 除非另有说明，2日内回复。为保证约稿顺利，希望你在同样的时间内回复我。不然无法避免后续delay。
- 不接受语音消息和电话。 写下你的想法以便创作过程中回复。
3 报价和支付
- 稿件价格取决于复杂程度/难度，工作量和稿件用途。书籍插画，唱片封面，T恤设计¥1700起。队标和纹身设计¥1000起。纹身小图另计，具体私信。不接花臂和满背设计。
- 境外约稿方: PayPal 支付。转账时选择以朋友/家人身份转账，否则转账手续费另计（总价的4.4%）。 Paypal 账号: ming.ling@outlook.com
- 境内约稿方: 支付宝，微信或者银行转账。
- 开始前收取50%的稿件价格作为定金，定金不退。
- 预定以定金为准。
- 尾款需在与使用许可上的相同日期支付
4 修改
- 草稿阶段免费修改。不建议反复推翻太多次（5次及以上你仍然不满意），否则极大降低设计质量。如果真的产生此类情况，双方有权终止合作。
- 终稿阶段3次免费小改，不接受大改。如果超过修改次数或者需要大改，修改费另计，按小时计费。
- 你有权对终稿进行细微调整（裁剪，调整对比度之类）。除非得到我书面同意，不允许任何人在终稿的基础上进行修改或重绘。
- 不接无偿的resize工作。请一开始就告诉我稿件的使用场合以便合理构图。如果因贵方沟通不当导致大改或延误，产生损失我方概不负责。
5 权利, 署名和使用许可协议
- 你有权在一定条件下使用稿件。使用条件有在使用许可协议中注明（下载样本）。
- 我保留稿件版权权并有权将稿件用于自我宣传。你可以以稿件的数倍价格买断版权。
- 请在社交媒体上发布我的稿件时将我署名为Apocalypticbell并@我。
